    Finding a good dentist isn't easy, but I have to say that I am very fortunate to have found Dr. Boridy and her staff. Her office and staff are very professional, inviting and friendly. They make you feel like you are part of their family and at the same time they are very efficient with their jobs.

A while ago, I had a horrible ATV accident that left my upper jaw and teeth in an awful wreck. From the moment I was brought in, Dr. Boridy and her staff were able to calm me down and reassure me that I would be okay. After a long six months of working on my mouth I was finally able to smile proudly again.

I have to say that my new teeth look even better than my originals! A very big THANK YOU to Dr. Boridy and her staff for all the constant support and professionalism they have provided me over this term. Without any doubt they
will always be recommended by me to my friends, family and peers.

    I have been Dr. Boridy's patient since she opened her practice in Valley Ridge in November 2000.  For many years I had suffered headaches resulting from grinding my teeth.  At my first appointment Dr. Boridy suggested she repair the wear on my eyeteeth which allowed my jaw to move too freely while I slept.  She carefully built up these teeth which resulted in stabilizing my jaw.  (No more grinding, Wow!)  Now that the grinding has stopped, I no longer suffer from related headaches. 

Also over the years I had worn down several front teeth leaving them sharp.  Dr. Boridy restored these to normal with excellent color matching.

Thank you Dr. Boridy for all your meticulous work in restoring my oral health and thank you for relieving me of those headaches.  And thank you to your staff for their excellent skill and great results during my regular teeth cleaning.

    Dental Adventures!

I had 32 teeth with no cavities or fillings until age 20 when an accident damaged one in front and I had it replaced with a false tooth on a bridge, by a Calgary dentist in 1958. After 36 years under the care of a good dentist in Ottawa, my wife and I returned to Alberta.  I then lost my other front tooth to decay and the pliers of another Calgary dentist before we found our permanent dental care home, right here in Valley Ridge.

What's the difference between having a good dentist versus being under the care of Dr. Boridy and her associates?

Accommodation: Everyone seems to work well together to make each visit a pleasant experience. My wife puts it this way: When I go to a dentist I expect professional care and concentration on the task at hand. A little friendliness is welcome too. I have been impressed with Dr. Boridy's skill in carrying out her procedures with such gentleness that I feel completely relaxed in her hands. This is important to me because I have always preferred avoiding freezing whenever possible.

Fairness and full disclosure: When we moved from Ontario, we quickly discovered that Alberta dentists have higher fees than we were used to. So it matters a great deal to us that Dr. Boridy explains all options clearly and patiently, always with respect for our point of view. Her efforts to ensure that we get full entitlement from insurance claims are remarkable, and usually successful.

Attitude: Dr. Boridy's dedication to achieving and maintaining the best health and
function for teeth, mouth and gums, as well as an attractive appearance, is close to a religious calling, and this dedication is infectious ... I treat my teeth much better than I ever did before.  Eventually I decided to have my two front teeth replaced by implants.  Dr. Boridy's advice and counseling, and her major role in this lengthy exercise was crucial. I couldn't be happier with my restored set of 32 teeth.

Valley Ridge Dental Centre is a class act. This web site is not "just a pretty face"!
